Option 1-
Hill Sprints! (LET’S WORK THAT SPEED, Baby!)
Before you begin- Find a hill that’s of decent size. Something you could sprint up in 10 seconds or less (I know we live in Kansas…do you best)
WORKOUT
- 10 hill sprints and 110 body squats
- To start, perform a hill sprint. At the top of the hill, perform two body squats. The number of body squats increases by two each sprint.
- EXAMPLE
- Hill Sprint # 1
- Two body squats
- Jog/walk down
- 30 seconds rest (remember these hill runs are supposed to be sprints! Try to get enough rest in-between sets you can fun full speed but don’t rest for too long)
- Hill Sprint # 2
- Four body squats
- Jog/walk down
- 30 seconds rest
- Hill Sprint #3
- Six body squats
- Jog/walk back down
- …Continue like this until you reach a total of 10 hill sprints.
